Services for Byron B. "Bud" Finch, 78, of Lineville, will be today at 2 p.m. at 
Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville Chapel with the Rev. James Duke officiating. 
Burial will be in Mineral Springs Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Finch died 
Thursday at Clay County Nursing Home. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lorene 
Shorpshire of Columbus, Ga. and Mrs. Martha Caldwell of Ashland; a brother, Carl 
Finch of Lineville and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David 
Pittard, Leonard Pogue, Bill Roberts, Wayron Foster, Wayne Creed and Dick 
Campbell. Mr. Finch was a Talladega County native and a Clay County resident for 
the past 40 years. He was a retired farmer, a World War II Veteran and a member 
of Mineral Springs Methodist Church.
