Roy Carpenter and the Rev. Alvis Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in Delta Cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Nora Lee Thomas, Mrs. Nettie Carpenter, both of Anniston, Mrs. Nobie Mitchell of Ashland and Mrs. Catherine Mitchell of Alpine; two sons, J. T. Forbus of Oxford and K. V. Forbus of Anniston; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Lee Character of Oxford, Mrs. Elsie Bishop of Lineville and Mrs. Bueana Hill of Alexander City; a. brother, Olen Harris of Lineville; 13 grandchildren, and 21 greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bobby Joe Forbus, Larry Lee Forbus, A., D. Mitchell Jr., Jerry Lowery, Woodroe Carpenter and David Riley. Mrs. Forbus was native of Clay County and lived in Anniston for 20 years. She was a member of Providence Methodist Church. The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour prior to services.
