Robert Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Providence Cemetery in Delta. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Forbus died Tuesday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include a son, L.L. Forbus of Ashland; a sister, Frances Pruitt of Talladega; a brother, Robert L. Sims of Norfolk, Va.; seven grandchildren, Cindy, Junior, Samantha, Tanya, Chris, Janet and Angelia Forbus; and eight greatgrandchildren, Lee McCollum, Callie and Mikeala Forbus, Anissa Burns, Christopher and Cortney Denney, Wayne and Steven Poss. Pallbearers will be James Mahan, Wade King, Chris Forbus, Ralph Toland, James Frames, Ray Hubbard, Terry Turner and Ricky Mulkey. Mrs. Forbus, a native and lifelong resident of Clay County, was a homemaker. She was-a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Delta and the Eastern Star Rebekah Lodge in Delta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmette L. Forbus and a son, James H.
