Services for Loyce L. "Buddy" Forbus, 65, of Ashland will be Tuesday al 4 p.m. 
at the Benefield Funerals Home Chapel in Ashland with Rev. Robert Harris and 
Rev, Cleve Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Old, Providence Cemetery in 
Delta. The family will receive friends 4-8 today at the funeral home and until 
the service on, Tuesday, Mr.  Forbus died Saturday at Baptist Medical Center 
Montclair in Birmingham, Survivors include his wife. Hilda Forbus of Ashland; 
three daughters, Cindy Forbus, Samantha McCollum and Tanya Forbus; two sons, 
Junior Forbus and Chris Forbus; six grandchildren Lee McCollum, Carrie 
Forbus, Mikeala Forbus, Anissa Burns. Christopher Denney. Courtney Denney and an 
aunt, Mary Frances Pruitt. Pallbearers will be members of the Clay County 
Sheriff's Department and Ashland Police Department. Honorary pallbearers will be 
Chris Forbus, Chris Hicks, Ed Pierson, Terry Franklin, Lee Maccollum. 
Christopher Denney. Bo Stewart, Junior Forbus. and James Maham. Mr. Forbus was a 
native and lifelong resident of Clay County. He was retired from the Clay County 
Sheriff's Department and had been employed with Delta Security Services Inc. in 
Talladega, lie served in the Air Force as an MP during the Korean War. and was a 
member of Liberty Baptist Church.
