L.C. Harris, the Rev. Roy Carpenter and the Rev. Charles Moore officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home until an hour before the service. Mr. Forbus died Sunday at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eula Gay Forbus of Delta; four daughters, Mrs. Marie Craft of Anniston, Mrs. Levis Morrow of Kingston, Tenn., Ms. Betty Forbus and Ms. Janice Forbus, both of Delta; two sons, vernal Forbus of Birmingham and James L. Forbus of Delta; a brother, Albert Forbus of Delta; six grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; and a great greatgrandchild. Pallbearers will be Lynn Forbus, Derwood Craft, Glenn Forbus, David Williams, Lester Boling, Terry Tarrant, Danny Palmer and David Wilfert. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Mr. Forbus was a Clay County native and a retired farmer. He served as deacon of Mount Olive Baptist Church for 5O years.
