Ashland Progress
Henry Lee, the little 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ford was 
accidentally killed in a shocking manner Monday. The tragedy occurred at the home 
of the child's uncle, Houston Brooks, a few miles west of Ashland and was caused 
by the child attempting to climb onto a wagon and falling under the wheel, which 
ran over his body, producing injuries that proved fatal. He was brought home at 
once but lived only a few hours. Henry Lee was the only child in his parent's 
home and was a bright little fellow and a great favorite of the family. Funeral 
services were held Tuesday, and the remains were interred in Mt Zion cemetery.
