Anniston Star
Oddist Arving Franklin, 58, of Delta, died Tuesday, Funeral services will be 
today at 2 p.m. at the Delta First Baptist Church with the Rev. D. Hurst and the 
Rev. L. P. Bowen officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery with 
Blair Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. Survivors include his wife, Evie W. 
Franklin; two half-sisters; a stepdaughter; and two stepsons. Pallbearers will be 
Larry Clark, Billy Clark, Willard Clark, Steve Clark, Paul Clark. Roger Gaither. 
Mr. Franklin was an employe of the Alabama Conservation Department.
