F. Freeman and carried away the spirit of a de- voted husband and father. He was born Dec. 10. 1861, living 61 years 3 months 27 days. Married to Mollie Burroughs in April 894. He was a member of New Harmony Christain church, spending his life near this community He lived an honest life being very prompt to keep his word and obligation, having many friends on which he bestowed great confidence, these showed in him a spirit of gratefulness for every favor shown him, living a life of faith in God, taking hold of the promises of divine word. With prayer of faith words are inadequate to express Bro. Freemans honest life and Christain, character. He will be missed in home church and community. His body was laid to rest in New Harmony cemetery. A great number of relatives and friends attended the funeral services. He leaves to mourn, his wife and four daughters, Misses Eura and Macie Freeman, Mrs. Galema Luker and Mrs. Lois Mackey.
