Ashland Progress
The death angel visited the home of Rev W.M. and Mrs. G.A. Worthy, Monday, April 
15 and called from their midst Mrs. Worthy's mother Mrs. Louiza French. She was 
in her 83rd year and had been a member of the Baptist church for 60 years. She 
was the mother of only one child, Mrs. Worthy. She had been helpless for a year 
and endured her afflictions with patience. May God bless the bereaved ones, 
funeral services were conducted by Rev M.A. Johnson of Shiloh and her remains 
were laid to rest in Shiloh Cemetery Thursday afternoon.
