Lineville Headlight
Jas H. Fullerton was born in S.C [Chester] Nov. 1848 Soon after his parents 
moved to Clay County [Randolph] at Delta Ala. where he remained all his life, He 
was married to Tena Mitchell about 1873 to this union were born five boys. He is 
survived by four sons and children to morn his departure. He united with the 
Baptist Church easily in life, he lived a faithful and consistent member until 
death, Aug. 1st, 1928, By hard study by firelight he obtained a fair education 
in his day and taught several schools. He was a home guard during the Civil War. 
He was made a Mason in the year 1893 at Hardy-Howle Lodge No. 459 and was member 
in good standing at the time of his death. He was laid to rest in Delta Cemetery 
with Masonic honors, in the presents of large concourse of people. Therefore, be 
it resolved, l.st That the lode extends its sympathy to the immediate relatives 
and friend who are most heart stricken at the loss we have all sustained, we can 
only sincerely and most affectionately sympathize with them in their bereavement 
and commend them to the father who doeth all things well. He will fold the arms 
of his love and protection around those who put then trust and confidence in 
him. Resolved 2nd that a copy of these resolution be spread on our minutes. 
Resolved 3rd that a copy be sent to the bereaved family. Resolved 4th a copy be
