Mrs. Mary Alice Gaither, 40, of 413 1/2 South Talladega, was fatally shot at her 
residence Saturday. Funeral services are scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Usrey 
Funeral Home with the Rev. John A. Joiner officiating. Burial will be in the 
Ashland Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Frank H. Gaither of Talladega; 
a son, Mike Endress; and three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Lee Hurst, Mrs. Aileen 
McCain, and Mrs. Nell Lackey, all of Talladega. She had been employed at Citizens 
Hospital as head dietician for the past 15 years.
