Mr. Garrett was a member of the Delta Baptist Church and had been a clerk of the church for a number of years with a record for his regular attendance. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock at Delta Baptist Church, the Revs. p. W. Burson, E. S. Daniels, and W. L. Sprayberry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, Jones in charge. Mr. Garrett is survived by his wife; four sons, Ullman and Owinn Garrett of Anniston: Thomas Garrett of Houston Tx., and Allen Garrett of Jasper; five daughters Mrs. Walter Jones of Delta; Mrs. L. S. Currie of Birmingham; Mrs. Elizabeth Sasnett of San Diego. and Mrs. J. G. Bishop and Mrs. R. L. Norwood of Houston Tx., four brothers, Gilbert Garrett of Jacksonville, and C. C. Garrett of Dothan; two sisters, Mrs. W. P. Pitt of Dinsmore Fla., and Mrs. E. B. Watley of Scottsboro; and 11 grandchildren.
