Garrett. 82. of Wellington, who was found dead in bed, yesterday morning at the home of his son, Mancel Garrett at Lincoln. Rt. 2 will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at Barfield Baptist Church with the Rev. DeWitt Stovall officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, Usrey in charge. Mr. Garrett, who. had suffering from heart trouble, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby Garrett of Wellington; two daughters, Mrs. Wallace Pettus of Wellington, and Mrs. Luther Pettus of Horton; one son, Mancel Garrett of Lincoln, Rt. two brothers, John Garrett of Fort Payne, and Sam Garrett of Fort Worth, six sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Bartley of Gadsden, Mrs. Minnie Hood of Albertville, Mrs. Cleo Gravin of Horton, Mrs. Margaret Heath and lira Maude ransom and Mrs. Bray Blackey, both of Birmingham, and eight grandchildren. The body will remain at the home of Mrs. Pettus in Wellington until the time of the funeral. Pallbearers will be Rufus Nichols, Hardy Currie, Pat Owens, Harris Bryant, Joe Saxton and Orby Harrison.
