Ashland Progress
James Junior Gill, little 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt Gill of Lineville, 
Rt; 1, was struck and killed instantly by a truck on the Lineville-Wedowee 
Highway last Friday morning. The truck was reported to have been driven by Frank 
Hill. Funeral services were held at Shiloh church Saturday morning with Rev. Bean 
officiating. Interment. was in the adjoining cemetery with White Funeral Home in 
charge. Surviving are the parents, two brothers, and three sisters, and 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Turley and Mrs. Homer Gill Kennedy.
