Ashland Progress
Mrs. A. A. (Beulah White) Glass passed away at 8144 2nd Ave. Birmingham, Tuesday 
a.m., the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy G. Davidson, after a long illness. 
Funeral services were held at Brown Service, Norwood, at 10 o'clock Wednesday a 
m. with burial and graveside service at Olive Branch Cemetery at 1 p.m. Dr. 
Foster K. Gamble, Rev. L. Wilkie Collins and Rev. R. T. Sanderson officiated. 
Pallbearers were Roy Davidson James William Glass, Aubrey Glass, Robert 
Richwine, Vernon King, George Sanders, Roy Moncus and Winfred Smith. Survivors 
are one with whom she had resided for many years; two sons, J.W. Ashland; Fred, 
Los Angeles, 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. J. 
T. McCain, Lineville. Mrs. Glass was born in Ashland and spent much of her life 
here, was a faithful member of Ashland Methodist Church during her residence 
here.
