Services for Mrs. Corene May Golden, 76, of Ashland, Rt. 3, were today at Brock 
Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Travis Crawford officiating. Burial was In 
Lystra Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Golden died Wednesday in Alexander City. 
Survivors include her husband, Houston Loftin Golden of Ashland, Rt. two sisters 
Mrs. Cladie Farrell of Alexander City and Mrs. Ezell Mooney of Tuscaloosa; a 
brother, Enoch May of Birmingham a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Richard Wayne Smith, Wendell Lee Smith, Phillip Junior Smith, 
James Davis, Bunk Lovelady and Bruner Gaither. Mrs. Golden was a native and 
lifelong resident of Clay County was a housewife and a member of Wright's Chapel 
Methodist Church.
