Alexander City Outlook
On last Sunday evening at 5 o'clock Mrs. Gooden passed away at the home of Dr 
Hugh Price near Bethel church just over the line in Clay County. On Thursday 
evening before at the funeral of her grandchild, she was attacked with heart 
trouble, was carried to the residence of Dr Price. She never spoke again and 
lingered till the above-named hour and died. She was very old, a consistent 
member of Bethel Baptist Church and esteemed in all her community. We tender 
sympathy to the bereaved.
