Ashland Progress
Last rites for little Danny Gortney, three months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul 
Gortney, were held at Liberty Hill Church on February 17, at 3 p.m., conducted by 
Rev. Grady Harris and Judge W. B. Nolen. Interment in Liberty Hill Cemetery with 
Blair in charge. Pallbearers were Travis Gortney and Fred Gortney. Survivors 
include his parents, one brother, Dennis Gortney, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Tommy Hallman and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Gortney.
