Lineville Headlight
On Sunday evening, October 8, 1916, Mrs. Dianna Graben passed away from her 
earthly life into her heavenly heme. At the time of her death, she was 87 years 
old. About 15 years ago she was married to Mr. Louis Graben. She lived a 
Christan life and was a very devoted wife. All during her stay with her late 
husband she cared for him very tenderly and always made his pleasures first. At 
his death she was left in the care of his children, who cared for her very 
tenderly, and in addition to their kindness each of the children placed an 
allowance in the bank each month for her needs and pleasures. She made her 
permanent home with Mr. and Mrs. James Dewberry (Mrs. Dewberry being the eldest 
daughter of Uncle Louis Graben), where she was loved and cared for just as a 
mother should be. During her sickness she tried a number of times to express her 
thankfulness to Mrs. Dewberry for the courtesies shown her, but she could only 
embrace her and shed tears, and say, "You have been so good to me, Jane!" She 
was laid to rest in the Pleasant Grove cemetery, in Uncle Louis Graben's family 
plot, with a host of friends and relatives to mourn her loss. Her friends were 
saddened to know her earthly life had come to a close; but the sorrow of those 
who knew and loved her best was changed to joy, because all weariness and 
waiting were past because the tired body was cut of pain and the soul released 
from prison. How gladly do we "Give her of the fruit of her hands and let her
