Anniston Star
Services for Tom Conrad Graben, 73, of Lineville, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at 
Barfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Adams and the Rev. Ronald McKeever 
officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home 
of Ashland in charge. The family will receive friends from 5 tonight until an 
hour before services, when the body will be taken to the church. Mr. Graben died 
Friday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Omaree Graben 
of Lineville, and a sister, Ms. Irene Sides of Birmingham. Pallbearers will be 
Olen Graben, Billy Joe Graben, Jim Tom Sides, John Griffin, Donald Griffin and 
Richard Bradford. Honorary pallbearers will be Barfield Baptist Church deacons 
and men of the adult Sunday School class. Mr. Graben was a lifelong Clay County 
resident, a farmer, and a member and deacon for 40 years at Barfield Baptist 
Church.
