Ashland Progress
Mrs. E. G. Gravette, widow of the late John Robert Gravette, died Tuesday and was 
buried at Liberty Baptist church on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. F. J. Ingram 
conducting the service. The deceased was 84 years of age and is survived by six 
children, 44 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, 
two sisters, Mrs. Etta Brown and Mrs. Ella Pruet. Interment was in the Liberty 
cemetery. Clardy of Talladega was in charge.
