Ashland Progress
Mr. W. C. (Bill) Gravette, 72, passed away at his home on Ashland, Route one on 
January 17th. Funeral services were conducted b Rev. Jimmy Mize and Rev. Bill 
Langley at Antioch Church at 2 o'clock p.m. on January 18th with Blair Funeral 
Home in charge of arrangements. Interment was in Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers 
were Carl Smith, Jessie Lee Jackson, Arthur Molliston, Hubert Caldwell, Bill Cald 
well, Bordon Gravette. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vida Gravette, five sons, 
Charlie, Frankie, Willie Fred, W. C. Jr. and Earl; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy 
Martin and Mrs. Ann Royster; five sisters, four brothers, eleven grandchildren.
