Gravette, 75, of Rt. 4, Talladega died at 11:50 a.m Monday at Citizens Hospital. Funeral services will be at Spring Hill Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, with the Rev, Doc Burdette, the Rev. Alvis Jacobs and the Rev. Reese Wood officiating. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Ada Gravette; 4 daughters, Mrs. Mavis Love of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Betty Wallace of Birmingham, and Mrs. Peggy Sailors of Sylacauga; one son, the Rev. Borden Gravette of, Atlanta: five grandchildren; one brother, P. V. Gravette of Ashland; five sisters, Mrs. Mattie Jackson of Ashland, Mrs. Bonie Hart, Mrs. Lola Stone, Mrs. Norman Smith and Mrs. Nell Molliston all of Talladega. He was a World War I veteran and a retired molder at Talladega pipe shop.
