Anniston Star
Services for Bruce Nail Gravette, 68, of Ashland, Rt. 2, were today at Brock 
Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. John Pace officiating. Burial was in Memory 
Gardens. Mr. Gravette died Tuesday at Gay County Hospital. Survivors include his 
wife, Mrs. Uarda Gravette of Ashland; two sons, Donald Gravette of Ashland and 
Kent Gravette of Gonzales, La.; four sisters, Mrs. Bernice Brown of Anniston, 
Mrs. Annie M. Cruese of Marietta, Ga., Mrs. Jimmie Pruett of Kellyton and Mrs. 
Mary F. Woods of Montgomery; a brother, Mallory Gravette of Mobile; and four 
grandchildren. Pallbearers were Billy R. Green. Northern Green, Tommy Green, 
Ronnie Green, Keith Gravette and Mark Gravette. Mr. Gravette was a native and 
lifelong resident of Clay County. He was a retired farmer and construction 
worker and a member of Socapatoy Baptist Church.
