Gray, a resident of Cragford, died at Clay County Hospital, Sept. 20. Services were held at Cragford Baptist Church Wednesday at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. 0. C. Nichols and the Rev. John L. Higdon. Blair Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, with burial in Cragford Cemetery. Mr. Gray was very active in his community life, spiritual and j political. He was a loyal trustee schools for many years and a of his church for almost 40 years. Surviving are his wife, Viola Padgett Gray; six sons, Curtis, Alexander City; Aubrey, College Ga. Charles 0., Binghamton N.Y., John L. Lineville, L.E. Dallas, Texas, James R. Langdale, a daughter Mrs. Stella Ruth Peters. Decatur, Ga., seven grandchildren, three brothers W. W. Gray of Perry, Ga., E. C. Gray, Anson, Texas, W. A. Gray Past. Texas; and one sister Mrs. Bessie Scitern of Lubbock. Texas.
