Anniston Star
Thomas Newton Gray, age 73, citizen of the Abel community for many years, died at 
his home Wednesday afternoon following an illness of about two weeks. Funeral 
services will be held at Black's Chapel at 11 o'clock Friday morning. Rev. A. R. 
Raines will officiate, and interment will be in. Black's Chapel Cemetery, with 
Brown in charge, Surviving are two sisters, Mixie Gray, of Delta, and Palestine 
Waller, of Wadley.
