Services for Mrs. J W Greene 89 who died Tuesday night at the residence of a son 
in Ellaville will be held Thursday at 2 pm from Liberty Hill Methodist Church 
near Ashland Ala. The Rev Clarence Gaddick and the Rev John Higdon will officiate 
with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Greene a native of Clay County Ala, had 
lived in Schley County for the last 42 years She was a member of the 
Congregational Methodist Church. Survivors include four sons Howard A Greene of 
Griffin, Quinton Greene of Quincy Fla, Kermit Greene and J W Greene Jr both of 
Ellaville, three daughters Mrs. J T Morris of Tifton, Mrs. Russell Mitchell of 
Lineville Ala., and Mrs. William Partan of Ellaville and a sister Mrs. Buena 
Nielson of St Petersburg Fla.
