Ashland Progress
James M. Griffin, age 67, died at his home in the Cragford community, Saturday, 
Aug. 25th. Funeral rites were conducted by Rev. G. D. Taylor and Rev. O. P. 
Bradberry at Mt. Carmel Church, Sunday, Aug. 26th, with Blair in charge of burial 
in the adjoining cemetery. He is survived by five brothers, T. W. and J. H., 
Ashland Rt. J. T. Plant City, Fla., A. J. and B. F., Cragford Rt. Three sisters, 
Mrs. Dessie Baucum, Talladega, Rt., Mrs. Francis Stephens, Albertville, Mrs. 
Millie Posley, Cragford. Pallbearers were Tommy Ronald, Aron and Gerald Griffin,
G.F. Baucum and Vernon Summerlin.
