Services for Mrs. Menner Griffin, 88, of Lineville were Saturday at 2 p.m. at 
the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. R.E. Birchfield and the Rev. 
M.L. DeWeese officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Blair-Brock 
Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Griffin died Thursday after a long illness. 
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Annie P. Harris, Birmingham, Mrs. Bertha 
Rice and Mrs. Ethel Yates, both of Lineville; a son, Iverson Griffin, 
Birmingham; five sisters, Mrs. Luzian Grabiel, Wedowee, Mrs. Roxie Dingier, Mrs. 
Mattie Lee Neal, Mrs. Rillie Denson and Mrs. Lurrie Taylor, all of Lineville; a 
brother, Jessie McCollum, Lineville; 21 grandchildren; S3 great-grandchildren 
and five great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Griffin was a native and lifelong 
resident of Clay County. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist.
