Anniston Star
Funeral services were conducted for James M. Griffin, 67, at Mt. Carmel Church 
Sunday. The Rev. Reuben Birchfield officiated. Blair Funeral Home was in charge 
and burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Mr. Griffin died at his home Saturday. 
He was a veteran of World War I and was a farmer. He is survived by five 
brothers, T. W. Griffin, Ashland, J. I. Griffin, Plant City Fla., J. A. Griffin. 
B. F. Griffin, Cragford; three sisters, Mrs. Dessie Baucum Talladega, Mrs. 
Frances Stephens, Albertville, and Mrs. Miller Pasley, Cragford.
