N. Griffin, a prominent citizen of Idaho beat, died last Thursday and was buried in the Sardis cemetery the following afternoon. Mr. Griffin was a useful citizen and was held in high esteem by his neighbors and friends. He had served the public in the office of Justice of the Peace for perhaps the longest tenure of any man in the county, and in many other ways lived a life of usefulness to his fellow men. He leaves a wife, two sons and a daughter besides a large group of sorrowing relatives and friends The funeral was conducted by Rev. Patterson and was attend ed by a large crowd.
