Anniston Star
Services for Grady Griffin, 80, of Talladega, Rt. 1, were today at Talladega 
Church of Christ with Travis Conner officiating. Burial was in Concord Baptist 
Church Cemetery in Clay County with Usrey Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Griffin 
died Saturday in Bessemer. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Louise Hudson 
of Bessemer, Mrs. Jackie Irwin of Birmingham and Mrs. Opal Goodwin of Talladega; 
three sons, Billy Stubbs of Pell City and Marshall Griffin and Shaffer Griffin, 
both of Talladega; a stepson, Cecil Holmes of Chicago; a brother, Cecil Eugene 
Griffin of Gadsden; 32 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren Mr. Griffin 
was a native of Tallapoosa County and had resided most of his life in Talladega 
County. He was a retired employee of Wehadkee Yarn Mills in Talladega and a 
member of the Church of Christ.
