Lineville Headlight
Sunday night about 7:00 o'clock the summons from above came to call G.W. Griffin 
up higher, He had been in bad health several years but at the time of his death 
he was getting along as well as usual and no one realized he was going so soon. 
He leaves 10 children, five sons and five daughters. Kay, Otis, Grady, Sam, 
Herbert are the sons. The daughters are: Mrs. Wyatt Moore, Hubbard Tex., Mrs. 
Crane of Malone, Ala. Mrs. Eidson, Mrs. Linton and Miss Ettie Griffin an Mrs. 
Taylor adopted daughter. He lived in Pleasant Grove community and was 66 years 
age. He was laid to rest in the Pleasant Grove cemetery.
