W. Griffin, was born March 15th, 1890. and died at his home, 4 miles east of Lineville, July 1st, 1918, being 28, years, 3 months and 16 days old. He had been a sufferer for the greater part of his life, but he bore his suffering with patience. He united with Pleasant Grove church at an early age and lived a Christian life. His family very faithfully administered unto him during his long illness. The funeral services were conducted by Revs. B. W. Mathews and W. H. Preston at Pleasant Grove July 2nd, 1918, and his remains were laid to rest in Pleasant Grove cemetery to await the resurrection. In silence he suffered with patience he bore until God called him Home to suffer no more. Remember: The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
