Griffin, 82, of 1130 South Hale Oxford, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Baiter Taylor and the Rev. Reuben Birchfield officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. Mrs. Griffin died Saturday at Regional Medical Center after a short illness. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jewel Moncus of Saks and Mrs. Iantha Beck of Glencoe; three sons, Winford L. Griffin and Artis Paul Griffin, both of Anniston and James L. Griffin of Villa Rica, two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Willingham of Lineville and Mrs. J.V. Johnson of Birmingham; 11 grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Griffin was a native of Clay County and had been a resident of Calhoun County for 26 years. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. The body will remain at the funeral home until time of services.
