Ashland Progress
Mrs. Ann Griffin, widow of the late Silas Griffin, and one of the oldest 
residents of the county died at the home of her son a short distance west of town 
Sunday morning, she was 67. years of age and had been afflicted for a number of 
years with a cancer which caused her death. She is survived by two sons. William 
Griffin and Curtis Griffin. Her remains were carried to County Line cemetery for 
interment, as it was in that community that many of her relatives and friends 
reside.
