Our Mountain Home
W. E. Gurley, 73, farmer of near Munford, died Sunday at 11:25 a. m. following a 
week's illness. The funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at 2 'o'clock, 
at Providence church, followed by interment in the church cemetery, Usrey 
directing. Mr. Gurley had lived in Talladega County all his He was a member of 
the Methodist church Surviving are the widow, four daughters, Mrs. Mae Johnson 
and Mias Mollie Gurley of Munford; Mrs. Ruth Oglesby, Brighton; Mrs. Delie Hitt, 
Oneonta; three sons, Will and Arthur of Munford, Harris, Talladega, route one 
brother, Mark Talladega, route 2. and one sister Mrs. Jane Johnson of White 
Plains.
