Ashland Progress
Following a long period of declining health Mrs. L. C. Hallman died at her home 
about three miles south of Ashland last Saturday. Funeral services were held at 
Lystra Baptist church on Monday, conducted by Rev. S. C. Ray, after which the 
remains were interred in the Lystra cemetery, Blair directing. The deceased was 
64 years of age and is survived by the husband, three sons, three daughters, two 
stepsons and one stepdaughter. Pallbearers were Amos Hallman, Hubert Hallman, 
Talbert Williams, Hubert Crawford, Marshall Watts and Howard Brand.
