Hallman, well known Clay County farmer, were held Monday at Lystra Baptist Church, with the Rev. K. B. Brazzell and the Rev. Grady Shaddix officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery, Blair Funeral Home in charge. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Denney Hallman; three sons, William T. Hallman, Autaugaville, Charlie M. Hallman, Guntersville, Henry J. Hallman, Childersburg, three daughters, Mrs. M. W. Lawrence, Childersburg, Mrs. F. R. Kenny, Houston, Texas, Miss Martha Hallman, Lt U.S.N., Pensacola, Fla. A member of one of Clay Countys pioneer families, Mr. Hallman died early Sunday after an illness of several weeks. Pallbearers were Millard Lawrence, Charlie, Jack, Thurman, Tommie and Allen Hallman.
