Mrs. Margaret Evelyn Hallman 50, of Goodwater, died Thursday at Clay County 
Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Oak Chapel Baptist 
Church with the Rev. Spurgin Coleman conducting the service. Burial will be in 
the church cemetery, Blair-Brown Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. 
Hallman is survived by her husband, James H. Hallman of Goodwater; five 
daughters. Mrs. Sue Stewart of Alexander City, Mrs. Barbara Lambert. Mrs. Evelyn 
Lambert, Mrs. Wanda White and Miss Cathy Hallman. all of Goodwater; two sons. 
Alvin D. Hallman and James L. Hallman of Goodwater: three sisters. Mrs. Louise 
McDavid, Mrs. Viola Roberson and Mrs. May Lambert; three brothers, Tryce Osburn, 
Eugene Osburn and Talmadge Osburn and six grandchildren.
