Anniston Star
Thomas A. Hallman, 75, of Ashland, RL 3, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Liberty 
Hill Methodist Church with the Rev. Grady Birchfield and the Rev. Zenus Windsor 
officiating. Burial will be in Old Liberty Hill Methodist Church Cemetery with 
Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. Mr. Hallman died Tuesday at his 
residence after a short illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha Hallman 
of Ashland; three daughters, Mrs. Vivian Gautney of Mellow Valley, Mrs. Shirley 
Pittard of Lineville and Mrs. Sarah Adamson of Douglasville, Ga.; two sons, 
Travis Hallman and Joe Hallman, both of Ashland; and three grandchildren. 
Pallbearers will be members Ashland Masonic Lodge 356 Mr. Hallman was a native 
of ay County and a retired farmer. He was a member of Ashland Masonic Lodge 356 
and a member of the Baptist Church.
