Services for Charlie Chester Hallman, 75, of Ashland were today at Blair-Brock 
Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Elmer Wheeles and the Rev. A.A. Jacobs officiating. 
Burial was in Clay County Memory Gardens. Mr. Hallman died Wednesday in Clay 
County Hospital, Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lula B. Hallman of Ashland; a 
daughter, Mrs. Arthur N. Brown of Gadsden; a son. James E. Hallman of Mobile; a 
sister, Mrs. Pearl Gann of Lineville; nine grandchildren and four 
greatgrandchildren. Mr. Hallman was a native and lifelong resident of Clay 
County. He was a retired construction worker and a member of County Line Baptist 
Church.
