D. Hallmark of Delta. Rt. 1. who was drowned In Taylor's Lake Sunday afternoon, were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wesobulga Baptist Church with the Rev. Horace Homesley and the Rev. Chester Craft officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery, Usrey Funeral Home in charge. Efforts to revive the hoy, who had gone swimming with two brothers in Taylor's Lake, formerly an ore pit in the Chulafinnee section about 16 miles from Anniston, were not successful. These efforts included assistance by Anniston Fire Department, the State Highway Patrol, a physician, and three young men who were trained in Red Cross safety courses. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Hallmark of Delta, Rt. 1; two brothers. H. H. Hallmark Jr. and Melvin Hallmark, both of Delta. Rt. 1; his grandfather, George Hallmark, also of Delta; and his grandmother, Mrs. M. C. Jones of Oxford. Rt. 2.
