She was born January 29th, 1879, and departed this, April 5th, 1928, making her stay on earth 49 years two months, and 7 days. She will be greatly missed by all who know her for she had many friends on this earth. She suffered 11 months with a serious cancer, but she bore her suffering with patience. She was kind and true to everybody, but now she has passed away and gone on beyond where some day we all hope to meet her in that Bright Home up yonder where she has gone to rest. She leaves a dear father, three sisters and four brothers, and a host of friends to mourn her death. She was willing to go, she made many wishes that she could pass on to that bright eternal home where we all hope to meet her someday. We don't know just how long, but we must be prepared to go. When our savior calls us home on high, we feel assured that she has gone home where Jesus is. She was laid to rest in Providence cemetery April 6th. Rev. W. B. Dennie and H.H. Goodman conducted funeral services. May God richly bless each and every one who lent a helping hand through the sickness and death of our precious aunt and sister. We will extend thanks to every one of those who were so faithful, and thanks for the beautiful flowers. May Gods richest blessings rest upon all. Mrs. Ida Cotney.
