Hamil died at the home of his son Mr. Lee Hamil who lived at LaGrange Ga. He was born Dec 10, 1845, and departed this life Aug. 23, 1929. making his stay on this earth 83 years, nine months and 18 days. He will be missed by all that knew him, and he was known one this land and country He has been here for a long time, he suffered most pass year with a broken limb, but at last the Lord seen fit to call him out of his suffering, to a most precious home on high. We all feel almost assured that he is asleep in Jesus, this beautiful morning as and loved ones are swiftly passing away it is like that sweet song our loved ones used to sing. Sweet summer has passed away and sone and some of these sweet days we will pass away and be All of us that has a sweet hope in Christ will pass on beyond, to that eternal home up yonder where there will be no pain nor sorrow there. We don't know just how long but we all hope to meet him some day. All we can do is to be ready when our Savior calls us home on high. He leaves a sister, four sons and three daughters and a host of grandchildren and friends, to mourn his loss. He always talked with a sweet hope that he was ready and willing to go, we all ought to be happy when our time comes if we feel as of a sweet home in Heaven. He was laid to rest in Providence cemetery Aug. 24, Rev. H.H. Goodman conducting funeral services. May God bless everyone who come with a willing heart and mind to him through his sickness. We want to extend thanks to the kindhearted friends everywhere we throughout this land and country.
