Ashland Progress
Mrs. Caroline Hamil, one of the county's oldest and best-known mothers, died 
Wednesday at her home in the Mellow Valley community. She was about 92 years of 
age and is survived by two daughters, Miss Elizabeth Hamil and Mrs. Cattie 
Johnson, and two sons, John F. and Frank Hamil. Funeral services will be 
conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon at McDaniel's Chapel, after which the 
remains will be interred in the nearby graveyard, Blair in charge.
