Anniston Star
Mrs. Cynthia Hamlin, 94, of Wellington, died today in a local nursing home after 
a long illness. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist 
Church with the Rev. Bobby Ivey and the Rev. Bill Burell officiating. Burial will 
be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Clay County, with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in 
charge. Survivors include several step-grandchildren. Nephews will serve as 
pallbearers. Mrs. Hamlin was a native of Clay County, a former resident of 
Talladega County and lived in Wellington five years. She was a member of Zion 
Baptist Church. The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour prior to 
services.
