Services for Oscar Dewey Hanner. 71, of Apt. 13, Eastside Apartments, Ashland, 
were today at Olive Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. A.A. Jacobs officiating. 
Burial was in the church! cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in 
charge. Mr. Hanner died Sunday in Clay County Hospital after a long illness. 
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Gidley of Ashland; four sons, Roland 
Hanner, Leroy Hanner and Ray Hanner, all of Ashland, and Herbert Hanner of 
Talladega; a sister. Mrs. Nellie Horn of Talladega; three brothers, Lawrence 
Hanner of Anniston, Winford Hanner of Lineville and Beamon Hanner of Talladega; 
15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mike Hanner, 
Bobby Hanner, Ronnie Hanner, Terry Hanner, Randy Gidley, and Billy Mac 
Birchfield.
