A. Hanners was instantly killed in car wreck near Talladega Sunday when the car he was driving went over embankment and his mother and young Hassell boy were badly injured. They had attended the funeral Scott Hassell near Gum Spring in Clay County and were returning to the Hassell home in Talladega County when the accident happened. It is reported that Scott Hassell died from injury recd in car wreck some few days ago. Funeral for J. A. Hanners were held from Providence Church Monday. Later, Mrs. Hanners passed away at 7 P. M. Monday and was buried Tuesday P.M. at Providence of where her son was burned the evening before. Rev. O. D. Packer and Rev. R. M. Allen conducting funeral.
