Services for Thomas Hickman Hanners, 62, of Millerville were today at Blair 
Brock Funeral Home Chapel in Lineville with the Rev. A. A. Jacobs officiating. 
Burial was in Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Hanners died Tuesday at 
his residence after a short illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Lou 
Hanners of Millerville; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Faye Walker of Millerville; a 
son, Thomas Huel Hanners of Millerville; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Horn of 
Talladega; four brothers, Lawrence Hanners of Anniston, Winfred Hanners of 
Lineville, Beamon Hanners of Talladega and Oscar Hanners of Ashland; and eight 
grandchildren. Pallbearers were Leroy Hanner, Roland Hanner, Herbert Hanner, 
Mike Hanner, Darrell Hanner, Edward Hanner, Harvey Hanner and Charles Gidley. 
Mr. Hanners was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County and a retired 
employee of Russell Corporation. He was a Baptist.
